Multigrain Savoury Crackers


After a lot of experimenting with refined flours and refined sugars, I had to attend my conscience who has been shouting "Guilty" for a long time! So here's a tasty, spicy and tangy cracker recipe to feed my guilty conscience-

Ingredients

  • 175 grams Flour (100 grams Whole Wheat Flour, remaining 75 grams mixed millet flours)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Ajwain powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Flax seed powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Cold Butter
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)

Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients and add water to knead it into a tight dough.
  • Preheat oven to 180 C. 
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the dough thin like chapati  and cut into desired shape. Bake the crackers at 180 C for 10-12 minutes till golden.
